About Peggy Barkalow

Peggy grew up in Paradise Valley, Arizona, surrounded by Spanish and Southwestern architecture, which sparked her early

appreciation for design and character homes. After moving to Los Angeles in 2010 with a degree in Creative Writing, she began her career in the entertainment industry, working her way up to managing A-list artists. The fast-paced, high-level environment 

sharpened her communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to navigate complex transactions. Drawn back to her passion for homes and design, in 2019, Peggy transitioned into interior design, working under Los Angeles–based designers 

and gaining hands-on experience in renovation and project management before obtaining her real estate license in 2021.

 

 In 2023, she joined forces with top-producing agent Jose Prats as the first agent on his Character Homes Team, specializing in architecturally significant properties across Los Angeles.

 With over $18 million in sales, Peggy is known for her strategic approach, strong client advocacy, and thoughtful guidance throughout the buying and selling process. As a mother of two young daughters, she is especially passionate about helping families find their place in Los Angeles.
